STATEMENT OF INTENT

Outline plan of action

WHAT are you going to do?:

For this unit i will document the domestic life of my Grandmother and explore the relationship between the figure and the camera.

HOW are you going to go about it?:

I will spend extensive time with the chosen person and i will photograph them in their domestic habitat and photograph them in their day to day life.

WHY do you want to do this?:

I have stated before i wish to evaluate the relationship between the figure and the camera. As Susan Sontag said it is quite violating to take an image of someone therefore i wanted to create an inquisitive document on someone who i know personally and dearly.
