A Life in a Day
My main area/theme for this unit has stemmed from the documentary work i did in the previous project. I've been exploring the ideas of relationships and how the act of taking a photograph is seen to be quite violating to the figure that is being photographed. As i have previously explored the figure i thought in this project i would turn it around and change it into an exploration of myself.
In order to be successful in this unit i will need to develop my organisation skills, as i find it quite difficult to manage my time i will need to appropiatley plan for this unit as i will need to be prepared to take a photo at any given moment.
I intend to use a weekly plan to help me organise my time, also i will use my blog as a way to reflect on my research and develop any ideas that i may have.
For this unit i will research into Corrine Day, Sophie Calle and other contemporary photographers such as Wolfgang Tillmans and Juergen Teller.
The evidence i will produce in order to show my development in this unit will be my reflective blog and my contact sheets, this will show my progression of ideas as well as technical skills that i wish to maintain.
